Reading the lines of your palm is like taking a look into a pool of
water. Some things about your life are very clear
and others are more blurry. One of the fascinating
things about palmistry. The lines in your hands
change as you mature, and a palm reading you had as
a child or teen can be completely different from one
you have later in life. Your experiences and
decisions change your palm, just as they change our
life.
Traditional palmistry, through inspection of the life line,
attempts to answer the crystal ball question “How
long will I live?” Trying to answer this question
from the hand reading can be a “slippery slope” to
travel indeed. However a helpful question might be
“How can I learn how to care for my body uniquely by
understanding the qualities in my life lines?” Your
life line presents you with definite and important
choices.

Your life line begins under your index finger, and winds around the
heel of the hand, or the Venus mount.
Many people believe that having a short life line means a short
life. However, if you care for yourself through a
conscious caring lifestyle and nutrition you can
live a very long and healthy life. Your life line
corresponds to your health tendencies, and how well
you can deal with illness, stress and other things
that affect your well-being.
There are times when some or all the lines in your hands can become
faint and harder to see from illness or long term
stress. When this happens, it is possible that your
life force is facing a physical or emotional
challenge.
Thickness, depth and strength of the line tend to indicate your
health tendencies can be. For instance, a thick line
can mean that you are very resilient and get sick
very rarely and have an excellent immune system.
A thinner, shallower life line can mean that your body is less
resilient, need more self care and abusing your body
may have immediate consequences that take longer to
heal. You can become sick more easily, as your
immune system is not as innately strong and you may
be more affected by emotional and mental stress than
a person with a thick deep life line.
So the good news about a short or thin life line is not about a
short life or illness. The length of your life line
reveals how to care for yourself with more grace.
Remember, when it comes to the life line, it’s not about what you
have, it’s about how you care physically and
emotionally for the life line and life that you are
blessed to have.
